History
Izumi International, Inc. was founded in 1977. Located in Greenville, South
Carolina, the center of the US textile trade, Izumi International
established itself by providing cutting-edge technology and spare parts
primarily for the Japanese Water Jet and Air Jet weaving machines.
A few years later,
Izumi International began carrying the
winding machines
made by
Kamitsu
Seisakusho, Ltd. in
Japan, for the carbon fiber industries. Now Izumi International, Inc. offers various kinds of
winders, creels, warp and weft feeding and tensioning
device for
carbon fiber and
other critical high
performance
fibers
in the
U.S.A.
and Europe.
About 10
years after establishment, Izumi International, Inc. became a distributor
for THK, the leader of linear motion guides. From then, Izumi International,
Inc. has branched out into the automation field, adding a line of aluminum
extrusion modular automation systems, and table top and scara robots for
factory automation.

Our sales
staff is ready to assist you. We an assist you in English, Japanese, or
Spanish.
We have mechanical and
electrical engineers on staff, which can assist in selection of a component,
or completely design a custom machine.
We have technicians that
service machinery in the field; installation of new equipment as well as
servicing of older machinery.

Capabilities
Izumi International, Inc. has light machining
capabilities and various forms of cutting.
Izumi International, Inc. designs and
assembles all assemblies and machinery built from the Robotunits Modular
Automation System.
Most of the creels we sell are assembled here,
in Greenville, SC. Before shipment trials and quality checks are also a part
of the operation here.
