WF Type Weft Yarn Feeder

For weft insertion, weft feeding, fill yarn insertion of flat-type material such as carbon fiber, prepreg tape, tape yarn, etc.
Yarn is stored in a u-shape by suction air to avoid twisting.
Stored yarn length is maintained by positioning sensor.
Drive motor automatically keeps up speed with loom speed, making the unit easy to use with no requirement for complicated timing signals.
Utilizes high accuracy fiber sensor with digital fiber amplifier for reliable performance.

FK-2 Single Tow Spreading Machine

The single tow spreading machine can spread a single tow of carbon fiber (or other material). Its spreading capabilities are 4-5 time the width of the original tow. The spreading accuracy is approx. +/-10%, with spreading line speed of 20m/min. The spreading unit utilizes air flow to spread and control the width, so it is very gentle to the fiber.

FK-2 Spread Tow Weaving Machine

This is a computer controlled weaving machine to weave spread tow. The weft can be supplied by a online spreading unit. Weaving speeds are typically 8 picks per minute, and max cloth width is 1000mm.
The standard unit will produce plain weaves. A unit with programmable weaving patterns is also available.

UT-1000 Carbon Fiber Twister

According to the demands for applying a certain twist on delicate high performance fibers such as carbon fibers, Ceramic Fibers, Fiber Glass, etc., Kamitsu has developed a high speed unrolling twisting machine that does not cause damage to the fibers.
The package is rotated in the cage and fiber is unrolled with uniform and constant twists.
Unwinding twists are eliminated during unwinding.
The number of twists can be obtained by coordinating the unrolling speed with the cage RPM (Max. 1,000 RPM). A machine with multi-built units can also be used as a doubling/twisting machine.
The Kamitsu UT Twist and Detwist machine is for use with delicate fiber or yarn without damaging the yarn.
