ST Series Creels

For carbon / high performance fibers

The ST Series creels are an unrolling type creel, with a unique compensation mechanism to maintain constant and stable unwinding tension regardless of the package diameter. The tensioning mechanism requires no contact with the fiber, so there is no damage.

Can be supplied as complete creel, or tension component only to mount to an existing frame.

This is the most popular type for carbon fiber creels: for pultrusion, pre-preg, laboratory lines, fiber spreading lines...etc.

CF-S2 Series Creels

For carbon / high performance fibers

This model is based upon the same principles as the ST series, but aimed at low cost / large scale creels.

Common applications for this creel are large scale (over 800 positions) creels for weaving, multi-axial machines...etc.

CF-S Series Creels

For carbon / high performance fibers

This model utilizes a simple band brake / weight system to apply tension. It has no compensation mechanism for package diameter. It generates tension through rotation, thus no contact with the fiber is necessary.

Common applications for this creel are large scale (over 800 positions) creels for weaving, multi-axial machines...etc.

ST-FO Series Creels

For fiber optics

Information to be available soon.

CF-S2-DIN Series Creels

For monofilaments

This model has adapters to accommodate the DIN type flanged bobbins (DIN160, DIN200, DIN250).

The CF-S2-DIN Series creels are an unrolling type creel, with a unique compensation mechanism to maintain constant and stable unwinding tension regardless of the package diameter.

Can be supplied as complete creel, or tension component only to mount to an existing frame.

TOP1000 Series Tensioner

Electronic tensioner for glass fibers

The TOP1000 is an electronic tensioning device, targeted especially for warping creels for glass fiber.

* The total output of tension is adjustable between 5 - 40 grams.

* Overall tolerance from set point is approx. +/- 0.5 gram.

* Tension can be set in 1 gram increments.

* Centralized tension control from PC.

* Complete creel frame can be supplied or tensioning system only can be

   supplied.

TOP1000-HT Series Tensioner

Electronic tensioner for glass, aramid, carbon

The TOP1000-HT is an electronic tensioning device, similar to the TOP1000, but has a higher tension range. Applications for this tensioner include glass fibers, aramid fibers, carbon fibers, and other high performance fibers.

PR-FB Series Creels

Feed-back Control Tensioning Creels for precursor

This series provides accurate tension control via feed-back control for precursor creels for the carbon fiber manufacturing process.

Proper tension control is essential in the carbon fiber manufacturing process.

The PR-FB system comes complete with spindle assembly to hold the precursor package, magnetic particle clutch to generate the torque, and tension sensor to monitor tension provide feed-back to the controller.

PR-OL Series Creels

Open-Loop Control Tensioning Creels for precursor

This series provides tension control via open loop systetm for precursor creels for the carbon fiber manufacturing process.

Proper tension control is essential in the carbon fiber manufacturing process.

The PR-OL system comes complete with spindle assembly to hold the precursor package, magnetic particle clutch to generate the torque.

Tension is adjusted manually, by timer, or via diameter sensor.

Feed-Back Control Creels

For carbon, aramids, other high performance fibers

These units are customized to user requirements. Convenient for laboratory, R&D, and pilot line scale set ups, as well as full scale production creels.

The system incorporates a feed-back controller, to provide highest accuracy of tension control.

Bi-Directional Feed-Back Control Creels

For carbon, aramids, other high performance fibers

These units incorporate feed-back control, as well as the capability to take up slack that may be generated.

A typical application for this type of tension control creel system is for filament winding.
