KS-3 High Speed Coating Winder for the filling package contributes to the improvement of weaving efficiency and quality.

Linking three processes (coating [sizing], drying, and winding) into one machine, dramatically improves efficiency, quality, and contributes to saving space.

The machine handles a variety of yarn: polyester, nylon, wool, glass fiber, carbon fiber, sewing yarn, rope, various filament yarn, surgical yarn, etc.

This is a multi-purpose unit, and can be used for many applications along with the sizing of filling (weft) yarns for weaving. Applications would include use in conjunction with sample and sectional warping machinery, coating and dyeing to various fibers, creating single strands from multiple supply packages, R&D use, testing equipment for size or coating manufacturers, etc......

  2. Improvement of Yarn Quality: KS-3 Coating Winder will reduce yarn breakage, fuzziness, and waste due to less processing.
    (No repetition of reeling as in the conventional process.)

  3. Stop Motion: Individual stop motion which improves machine efficiency and productivity.

  4. Easy Operation: Easy to thread and start each winding unit.

  5. Coating Method: Yarn is processed individually into coating bath, then through the squeeze roller to the drying process.

    • Coating formulation is recirculated and temperature controlled to keep the density and temperature consistent.

  6. Overflow system maintains the formulation level in the bath.

  7. Drying Method: Coated yarn fed from the coating process is wound onto the reel in the drying section. Yarn is wound onto the reel in one layer with exact spacing to prevent contact with each other.
